Watch this space. We’ll keep you updated on our progress. commZoom® is in the process of system-wide technology upgrades across its network. Upgrades will occur in phases. Eleven markets have been upgraded and now receive high speed data via Hybrid Fiber Coax (HFC) network infrastructure to local neighborhoods and business districts. This is hard-wired Internet, not wireless, satellite or outdated phone company DSL technology. More markets will have the upgrades soon. Specifically, these upgrades will bring the highest Internet speeds available in its service areas, along with fully digital cable television with high definition featuring all new networks, movie and music channels and telephone service. All upgraded markets offer Internet download speeds up to 100 Mbps (megabits per second). Some areas are now offering up to 300 Mbps download speeds with more markets upgrading to those higher speeds soon. Gigabit speeds are available to commercial accounts in business districts.
