Watch this space. We’ll keep you updated on our progress. commZoom® is in the process of system-wide technology upgrades across its network. Upgrades will occur in phases. Ten markets have been upgraded and now receive high speed data via Hybrid Fiber Coax (HFC) network infrastructure to local neighborhoods and business districts. More markets will have the upgrades soon. Specifically, these upgrades will bring the highest Internet speeds available in its service areas, along with fully digital cable television with high definition featuring all new networks, movie and music channels and voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) telephone service. In the future commZoom will offer gigabit speeds to business districts for commercial accounts and up to 500 Mbps (megabits per second) download speeds to residential customers and subscribers in the systems.
