Installer / Premise Technician
Do you like working with your hands, and learning new things? Responsibilities and Duties
- Provides cable, phone, and internet installation and troubleshooting services
- Educates customers on available services while demonstrating account ownership
- Troubleshoots customer issues for resolution
- Processes electronic and manual payments
- Work with customer to resolve delinquent accounts
Qualifications and Skills

Distribution Technician (Line Tech)
Distribution Technician (Line Tech)
The Distribution Technician is responsible for tasks associated with the maintenance and repair of our existing coaxial plant infrastructure. Secondary duties include support to construction of new HFC infrastructure.
Location(s): Pleasanton, Kenedy, Karnes City, Three Rivers, Goliad (may also be based out of San Antonio)
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot to identify faults within the coax drop, distribution and trunk systems to ensure appropriate signal level
- Correct faults in the system by adjusting, repairing or replacing passive and/or active components (Nodes, Amps, Line Extenders, taps, splitters, power supplies, etc)
- Utilize test equipment and tools to repair and/or make appropriate adjustments to the cable system
- Ensures proper alignment of RF levels (forward and return setup)
- Assists in the installation of trunk and distribution coaxial cables
- Operate in accordance with local and state DOT guidelines
- Repair cable in emergency after hour situations
- Complete preventative maintenance
- Provides support to Installer/Premise Technician, as necessary
Qualified candidates will possess:
- Understanding of HFC plants and RF theory
- Knowledge of all equipment from node to tap
- 2 years as line technician with coax experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to use and instruct the use of test equipment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong desire to work in a small business environment
- Clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bilingual in English/Spanish

Market Support Specialist responsibilities:
The Technical Support Representative will be responsible for resolving technical calls and answer questions regarding new and existing service, termination of service, and respond to other questions about billing, products, and services in a professional, courteous and accurate manner.
- Troubleshoots customer issues for resolution and generates work orders for field service as required
- Facilitates scheduling of installation, service, and disconnect work orders
- Interface with field technicians to support customer
- Participates in and supports the development and implementation of special projects
- Maintain project files and records, assist in the preparation of reports
- Supports initiatives in our markets
- Responds to customer requirements via the telephone, email, internet, or in person
- Educates customers on available services while demonstrating account ownership
- Processes electronic and manual payments, refunds, rebates, and return items
- Works with customer to resolve delinquent and final accounts
- Reviews and processes receipts and generates correspondence regarding billing disputes
- Processes, adjusts, reconciles and transfers all manual and electronic payment applications, refunds, rebates, return items and research of unreturned customer premise equipment.
